I have just rewired my whole house with CAT 8 cables, and set up ASUS Mesh System using a combination of ASUS ROG GT-AXE16000 & ASUS ZenWiFi ET12 (2 pack). Now getting around 1150 Mbps download and 50.5 Mbps upload around the house. Just want Virgin Media to launch their 2.5 Gbps package soon as hoping that will come with minimum upload speeds of 200 Mbps.Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router
Can anyone recommend a decent WIFI Router or Mesh System which has 10G ethernet ports? The same applies to an ethernet switch as well as having 10G ethernet ports. Currently re-wiring my home with CAT 8 cables as 2.5 GBPS connection will be made available by VM soon followed by full fibre offering 10G speeds in the next few years.Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router
Download speeds are sitting at 1135 Mbps with upload at 52.9 Mbps. The VM engineer said that 2.2 GBPS service will be launching soon by the end of the year or early next year with full fibre planned in my area EH54 in the next 3-4 years (Virgin Media just into our area in 2017, so it's considered pretty new in their terminology). Full fibre will be offering 10 GBPS download/upload speeds. Can anyone recommend a decent WIFI router which has got 10G WAN port with 10G ethernet ports as I am planning on rewiring with CAT 8 and replacing my Netgear WIFI Router RAX120 and Netgear WIFI Extender EAX80 with superior models to handle faster speeds? Thanks.
