Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated. Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Update, We've had an outage (noise) in the area since July of last year. This is the reason why I can't split the signals. VM were also struggling bu have managed to do it. Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Hi, I've now tried with 2 Hub 5s. Was told I should differentiate between 2.GHZ & 5Ghz, the reasoning being that if connected to 5G the more modern phones etc will get faster speeds. I amended the hub name and password to match the old Hub 5 but when I go to advanced settings the WiFi Network Name (SSID) is greyed out so I don't have the option to rename it. Any ideas? Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router I said I wasn't happy paying for them to provide a service of 1G that they advertise and I pay for. Dropped the charge and no delivery either. Just hope it works with the intelligent pods or my lad will be kicking off. Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Just been offerd a Hub 5 but they want £35 activation fee, is anyone else paying this? Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Thanks, just been told they're out of stock but they'll email when they have some in. Time will tell if that's actually true of course. Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Silly question but how do I webchat with VM? Phoned them yesterday, nd went through to the I'm leaving tem and they couldn't oder me one, put me through to the faults team who said I wouldn't get one till I upgraded. Pointed out that I couldn't upgrade any further so was then told they were out of stock and try phoning back in a week. Sounds like webchat is the way to go. Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router I currently have a Hub 4 and three wifi pods, if I manage to get a Hub 5 will they work with it or do I need to upgrade the pods as well? Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Engineer believed they weren't that far from being able to do that. Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router I believe it was BeFibre that a VM Engineer was talking to me about. Reckoned that Virgin will let them get to a certain size and then they'll buy them out.
