I think it's brill. Full speed on my phone/ipad pro etc (wifi 6 init) but guessing people have older devices... wish I could gift it someone on a gig 1 but sadly has to go back!! I've had no pre or post errors whereas my hub 4 was awful..got to now pay Trooli £61 a month for their 900mb service but 300mb up so will see... but there router has no 2.5 port or anything! Sad times! Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router I got it to 160, set the mode to ac and ax and turned off the smart WiFi thing and chose channel 108. Got the full speed on me phone through the hub now. Those with new devices and that can now make use of the full potential!! I'm on a s22 ultra! Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router I've set it to the 20 40 80 160 but still net analyser reporting 80mhz just find it odd as I've forced the 5g2 band on my mesh as just 160! Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Bit annoying that you can't just force 160mhz and have to have all of them as been playing about with it but still only using 80mhz! Still much better over the 4!! Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Mine was delivered today just got home and put it on, pulling 800 to 900 on their WiFi but got 1121 through my mesh so I'm happy for now modem mode for me!! Upload is terrible tho. Been sitting around 20-25 for weeks now! Thought that might sort it but who knows!! Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router Engineer this morning replaced my hub 4 with a hub 4 and not the hub 5 as promised when recontracting. Its all a farce but to be honest I'm moving next month and to a non cabled area but can get trooli so 🤞 it's better Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router I finally got one ordered but wanted to double check "Hi Martyn thank you for patiently waiting. I have investigated your account with us and and I can see here on your account that there is already a Work Order for an engineer deliver for your Super HUB 5.0 on 15/09/22 8AM-1PM." Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router I currently only pay £31 for gig 1 at the moment, but regardless of what your paying this existing customer malarkey is ridiculous, I'm still arguing the toss that I had an email from them but not getting anywhere. Luckily my contract up soon so will be putting the cancellation notice in, waiting for the loyalty customer team to call enroll me onto a new contract at not full price then ask then. But with my tenancy coming to an end I need to be careful as got ETF's if don't move to a vm area! Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router I'm on the fence here, while i agree yes we should wait our turn etc but for those including myself that received the email and then got incompatible email is unacceptable. I also disagree with the mods comments, professionalism in a company is key and clearly your keyboard slamming is unappreciated and clearly not company protocol. As for new customers well.... that's kind of a kick in the teeth for those of us who have had gig 1 since it launched in our areas... but there is no point getting worked up about it because its falling on their deaf ears. Either way it's a farce! Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router With what equipment are you referring to? I max out at 940 all the time on my phone. Having a decent mesh/wifi 6 router is the way forward
