I am having problems getting my Virgin mobile SIM to roam for voice and SMS in the USA.It is set to allow roaming on the VM mobile site but the phone refuses to connect.I have never had this issue before so am at a loss

Phone nowhere near hub how do Virgin suggest to resolve

The cable comes into my house behind my Tivo box in the lounge, it is also split to go up to the router in my upstairs back room.My phone base is in the downstairs hallway on the other side of the house, I do not wish any further cables tacked around...
