Re: Hub 5: Our first ever WiFi 6 broadband router I have two problems with Virgin. Although the wired ethernet signal is good, the poor wi-fi signal provides at best a 'marginal' signal to our TIVO box in the living room, and results in recurrent dropped signals in the bedroom despite the use of two extenders. (We cannot us powerlines because the history of the house means not everything is on the same circuitry,) The second problem is that since we had problems with our landline, and the Virgin engineer insisting on reconnecting it via the router, we have had crackling sounds on the line when using the other three phones linked to the base station by radio. We hoped a Hub 5 modem/router would solve or reduce the first problem but understand that, unlike the Hub 4, it cannot be used in conjunction with a landline. That suggests we are stuck with the problems and yet, at the same time, Virigin is regularly putting up the cost of our subscription. Is there anything that can be done to improved matters?
