Reset router everyday

Is it normal that I have to keep resetting my router everyday?
if I upgraded to a faster speed would all my internet problems disappear? Would streaming work?

No and absolutely not, in order!

As a general rule, if something isn't working properly now, then upgrading to a faster speed will do nothing other than transfer even more money from your bank account to VM's

So what internet problems do you currently have?

Thanks for the reply, we’ve had to reset the router for the last 4 days, we’re always having to reset it but it’s getting more often.

it’s always struggled to stream live tv as well

Hey payney1974, thank you for reaching out and I am sorry you are having some issues with your router.

How often are you restarting this everyday, more than once?

Also what colour is the light on the hub?

How long has this also been happening for?

Please do let me know. Thanks

New around here?

We reset it at least 4 times a week (it takes about 20 minutes, is that normal ?)

only have to reset it once in the day though

Thank you for confirming that information @payney1974

I have taken a look at the systems at our side and cannot see any issues or concerns with your connectivity or within the area. Please can you set up a broadband quality monitor and we'll be able to take this information to investigate further, this monitors your connection 24/7 and provides diagnosis of any underlying issues.

To set this up go to this page and follow the steps to set up a new monitor. Please reboot your router beforehand and after a few hours you can post a live link to the graph.

On here when creating your post click the Link icon (2 links chain to the left of the camera icon)
