Unable to watch recorded episodes on E. Upgrade notification on playback.
I have the Mix TV bundle which includes the E channel. I recently started watching a series on E and added a series link. The first three episodes were watched with no issue. Last night therefore should have recorded.When I attempt to watch it I get a need to upgRade message saying the series is only available on hayu.

Ah, the old bookmark problem.
Your series-link is set to use "recordings and streaming videos", and for whatever reason (a separate question) the episode in question failed to record. Hence the SL has spotted the episode available on a streaming/VOD service - but your package doesn't include the service in question hence the "upgrade to watch".
As to why the episode didn't record, checking your recording hiccups is probably the best advice but won't alter your problem. And TiVo including Hayu, Netflix and probably Amazon Prime (i.e. chargeable streaming services) in where it can search for VOD episodes, is almost certainly by design.
