TV problem VM ref F008403264

Yesterday 11/10/20,TV okay in morning. Switched on in afternoon no signal. Checked problem wasn't home based. Logged on to check service status. Virgin media were aware of a problem in my area, area 20.

Ref F008403264 - fixation in progress.

One worrying aspect is the fix estimate: 20/10/20 @ 10:05am.

Any one know what's going on? As surprisingly no one seems to have highlighted this problem previously.

Repair estimates are just that, an estimate and very often over-allow for repair time which can then be quicker than initially estimated.

Having said that, I'd be surprised if a loss of service fault is estimated at a week to fix. SNR is a possibility, but what is the exact wording on the status page? If you call the status line 0800 5610061, what does it say?
