...then cancel it with Virgin Media and get it from Sky.

Re: Sky Sports and BT Sport - Free of Charge?

I went to cancel Sports yesterday to be told had to give 30 days notice and then ring again. The person offered me £2.25 off my package for 3 months but I have since found out that then my bill goes up £31.25. Extremely unhappy with this service

Re: Sky Sports and BT Sport - Free of Charge?

Sorry, I posted here to get some actual advice. It seems I may have been unclear in what I'm asking for.

I can't cancel it with Virgin without losing my internet package and I can't buy it with Sky if I'm with Virgin (unless I open two contracts with both boxes).

Re: Sky Sports and BT Sport - Free of Charge?

MP Carolyn Harris is raising a similar issue about BT customers not getting a reduction on their sports package.  I have tweeted her to raise the issue of Virgin Media not enabling costomers with the Sky Sports package to pause this element of their overall contract.

I don't know whether Richard Branson still has a direct interest in Virgin Media, but if he is it's somewhat ironic that he is calling for a £7.5 billion bailout for airlines and asking Virgin Atlantic staff to take 8 weeks unpaid leave.

thank you for the link, your response is the type of reply that I was expecting / hoping for on this "community" board, not some of the ones that have appeared in this thread.

cheers.

Re: Sky Sports and BT Sport - Free of Charge?

It will be interesting as to what, if any, discount is applied to customers for whom BT Sport and Sky Sports is included in their bundle.  I'd assume that's the majority of us.

I have asked for it, though I suspect I won’t get any refund.  My only reason to have maxit tv was BT Sport.
