i have that charge on the bill of £6.60 which has made my bill £6.60 more expensive than it was prior to the pause.

Re: Sky Sports Pause Adjustment Charge on my latest bill

Hi dibberly,

have you compared your bill to previous bills to see if any package discounts have ended?

Some package discounts are applied for 6 months to a year and if that's the case, you may be out of contract and should call up to regrade and see if any new discounts can be offered.

Re: Sky Sports Pause Adjustment Charge on my latest bill

No,,, for eg. If my monthly bill before the lockdown / sports pause was £60, the pause in sky sports took the bill down to eg £40. today the bill has came in at £66.60 which is my original price + £6.60

so my actual bill has increased £6.60 above what it should be

prices are example except the £6.60

Re: Sky Sports Pause Adjustment Charge on my latest bill

You should have received an email from Virgin Media explaining that part of the Sky Sports credit was being clawed back to reflect the restart of live football from 19 June 2020.

Re: Sky Sports Pause Adjustment Charge on my latest bill

I have the same charge.
Mine is £16.60, Bill before lockdown was £150
3 months of about £100, then this month  £170  (Vareation is phone usage...)

Are we seriously being charge an Admin charge for not using a service?

No, you're not being charged a non-usage admin fee.

As others have explained, full monthly credits were applied covering Sky/BT Sports channels, in advance of each billing month. When live football resumed on June 19th, Sky decided to resume charges from that date - therefore VM applied charges to cancel out credits that had already been applied covering beyond that date.

This was explained in emails sent to every affected customer.
