I tried rather late on in lockdown to request a refund for the months we didn’t have sky sports. I got nowhere and after five hours on the chat I gave up. The advisors went on break , off duty , on another break...... can’t get through on the phone. Lodged a complaint and again got nowhere. Any advice what to do or should I just abandon and go to Sky ?
If you got any credit (not refund as the channels remained chargeable) it would not be available retrospecively. You were only allowed to claim credit from the day your request was put through the system.
You are not likely to get anywhere by complaining, & when you bear in mind that Sky actually makes the rules VM has to follow with regard to these channels I don't think swapping to the "dark side" will make you much happier either.
