Re: Pixellation

All my HD channels and movies are affected by pixelation. There is no set time of day. Wakefield 14. How do I sort this out?

Re: Pixellation

My issue with Pixellation has been fixed no thanks to this thread, my problem was that the cable from cabinet to house was damaged. Having been totally ignored by those who started this thread I have very little faith in this community anymore.

Re: Pixellation

I'm having the same problems with Channel 601 and 603, strangely the channels are ok at night, now the last time this happened a couple of years ago it was due to the frequency AND it only affected our house.

Re: Pixellation

Picture pixelation has been an ongoing problem for months, though VM insist their network is fine.

In my case engineers have replaced ALL, & I do mean all, components inside the house (cables, V6 box, resistors etc etc) AND even the drop cable (street cabinet to house). Literally absolutely everything has been changed, many things more than once.

There is nothing left to do at my end. Yet pixelation continues!

This proves beyond doubt the issues are elsewhere on the network.

ModTeam: No need for your intervention as it's in hand via exec dept.

Re: Pixellation

Mine was fixed by an engineer coming out. When I moved in there was a booster added inside my house. A few months ago we had a 2 day outage where I can only imagine that the cable in the area was improved and then my line was overboosted. It was fine once the engineer removed the booster.

Re: Pixellation

I've had these attenuators added then removed then re-added then removed again, each time the signals were checked & found correct.
It made absolutely no difference.
