No access to TV apps unable to record from TV control App

Have problem with error code 130 no apps working. code N27 comes up. No Call centres open. Online chat useless. Tried everything that there site recommends still not working. Also on the TV control app unable to record anything via it. 

Any ideas

What are Virgin doing about it

Hi 

 

Can you check the following:

> press menu on remote

> Help & settings

> system info 

> diagnostics

What does CA status say? If this says OK

Can you go out of diagnostics then go into

> settings

> network

> connect to virgin media service now

Hi can you check if the TiVo box has a stable internet connection. Can do this by going into settings and then network. If its connected via wifi then if possible try an ethernet connection is possible. If all fails try a good old reboot

Hi there

Is your box a Tivo 500 or a V6

If it's a v6 is your broad band work as the v6 needs a internet connection to work.

Go to settings & clear reset

Go to restart then thumbs down three,time then last channel.

This will restart the box then try & reconnected to the virgin media network.

Hi Paul

Thanks for the quick reply.

Firstly I had to press the HOME button to get "help and settings (there is no menu button on my remote).

I did  as stated and everything was as you stated until I did the "connect to virgin media service now".

This came back with "Network Cable Unplugged".  I have checked and this is not the case.

Hi Paul
Firstly the remote does not have a menu button . I had to use the Home button to get to Help and Settings. Followed all the way through until I got to "connect to virgin media service now".
This then showed "Network Cable Unplugged" . This is not the case
