Are you using a TiVo or a V6? If you're not sure, check here
I'm going to hazard a guess you have a TiVo, in which case... on the front-left of the box, there's a series of green lights. Second from left has a painted heart symbol next to it and indicates your box's internet online status. Is it solid or flashing?
If you have a V6, then please follow Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network, and report what is listed in the top-right.
As per https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-error-codes/c130 this is usually a connectivity issue, so checking your box's internet connection is the clue here.
