How painfully true that is. Over here they’re only interested in pushing new more expensive “bundle” products that are not necessarily better. Customer service is at best only operating at 10% capacity. On hold for over 1hr trying to talk to someone yesterday.
Have heard similar complaints on general Irish forums about this particular Samsung made set top device, and customers left to suck it up.
If they try to fob it off on the UK market, beware. Samsung have track record on product design flaws and defects.
Yeah I remember all the hassle Apple had with their 1Tb Samsung drives, well the V6 that most of the UK has is Horizon ready just needs to be rolled out, seen some good reviews on it, but that is a way off as the Tivo software is still under license for UK usage.
