V6 volume low

Hi,I've just had VM installed and the volume is so low,after spending half an hour on the phone trying to sort it out,it turns out this issue has been going on since 2017,and all you get on here is the big standard answer VM tech are looking into this,what since 2017, don't make me laugh

hi,i looked at the messeges but it still doesn't help my situation,as this issue has been around since 2017,it justmakes me think the customer doesn't matter as long as we keep paying,even the "tech" guys havn't got a clue.

Hi I'm afraid this is one of those faults that virgin won't admit to, and indeed has been a source of complaints for a long time, they ether don't have a clue or don't intend to try to solve the problem.Regards Micky

like many, we bought a soundbar which solved the 'problem'.

Hi I have a 5.1 system connected to my V6 which has to set on a redicoulsly high setting, so not sure a soundbar is the right solution to a problem virgin is ignoring.Regards Micky

we have a 300 watt sound bar connected via the headphone socket on the tv. without it the sound is dreadfully low. as it stands our tv is rarely higher than 20 per cent volume.

I have a sound bar,not connected,I have 5:1 surround system,the volume on that has to be around 60/70 just to be able to hear the movies properly,on the old box it was on about 40,.

There are so many people with the same problem and no one at VM have a clue of how to fix it,why should you have to go and buy extra equipment just so you can hear the sound, maybe VM could supply a sound bar to all their customers just so they can hear the sound
