V6 remote works apart from mute and volume have changed batteries reset remote but still no joy anybody any suggestions please

Also use the TV Control app on a compatible mobile device in the interim.

I honestly think it’s virgins end not the remote
Mine and my dads remotes work perfectly fine for days and then they will play up for days on end then remarkable work fine again for days on end it’s not the batteries as tried new ones

Does the V6's white light flash when you press the non-functioning buttons? There's nothing VM can do remotely, that stops a set-top-box from responding to particular remote keypresses. And even if there was, there's no reason to do so - it only causes support issues.
