V6 box gone mad

Hello my v6 box has green screen saying dvr has detected a serious problem and it will take 3 hours to fix, it’s been nearly a month and it still ain’t fixed itself ....any ideas ??

Hi Seriouslypeevd,

You have the green screen of death, the hard drive has failed.

You need to contact the Faults team.

You could try the text messaging service. Just send  a text with a description of TV Faults to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days. 

You can also call  150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, options 1,1 and 2 (Faultsbut best to call at 8am to avoid call queues

When calling Faults you will go through a series of questions/tests, if that doesn't resolve the problem then call back around 10 minutes later and an agent should pick the phone up.

Welcome back to our Community - sorry that you've been having some issues with your V6 box. 

 

I was able to locate your account from your Forum information; I can't see that you have been in touch since your post; how are things looking at home? We've not been able to connect to your box from here so unsure if you're still having the issue or if  you just have the box switched off!

 

If you're still having the issue, pop back and let us know and we can arrange for a replacement to be sent if you're happy with a self-install or we can book a technician if you'd rather. Hope to hear back from you soon

hi yes we still are having issues tried to call a few times but not been able to get through as your very busy

if you could send a replacement box that would be great I don’t mind installing
