my TiVo box stopped working and virgin sent me a new one. I've connected and all is working fine but now my v6 box comes with an error 7400.
Ive reset and still the same. Ive rang virgin to sent me a link which doesn't recognise the error. Ive spent 48 minutes on the phone and gave up.

Unfortunately for yourself, this error can't be resolved online and needs VM to activate your new kit by phone.
Normally the 0800 9539500 line can do this via automated system, but in your case something's not right and it looks like you'll need an agent.
I can only suggest you try again first thing in the morning.
