V6 Box - S102 error message

Hi.  I’m just trying to install a new V6 box, and it’s coming up with an error message S102 ‘Unable to acquire channel info’ 

Can anyone help to save me spending another 40 minutes on the phone sorting it out please?

HRe: V6 Box - S102 error message

Hi gan-sarah,

I'm sorry you are having issues.

It's doing that because the box hasn't been activated yet.

You need to call 0800 953 9500 to activate the box.

You will need the box serial number, and your account number and area code

Thank you.  I’ve tried it again and it’s working now.  Didn’t need to call 👍🏻

Hi again gant-sarah,

Thanks for the update, that's great news.

A member of the Forum Team did mention a few days ago that some boxes are now being sent out pre-activated. I guess it's probably just having to wait for the systems to update once the original connection is made 🙂
