yes I have tried new batteries as a last resort, but the remote and box have been doing this since the very first week the box was installed. It is apparently an ongoing problem with virgin media software since 2017 it would seem, from this forum thread.

is Virgin media going to do something about this. We are 3 yrs down the line since these troubles were reported by the OP of this thread, and the software fix has not been found, or solved??

Please send a new remote in any case, and I will see how that one performs.

I to have had this issue for months now. Nothing resolves it .
