Will v6 customers get the swap over from the itv hub to itv x on 8th December? Can't see a reason why not as we have the other free streaming apps.

In Scotland, on V6, ITVX isn't in Apps & Games, but you can access it via the info banner advert by pressing OK.

Question is, are Scottish customers getting ITVX? As with ITV Hub we didn't , and got the VM-hosted On-demand Branded Folder.

Never used the Apps page before. Same wait as for BBC iPlayer.

From VM How To Watch 22 September:

"ITV Hub is available to all Virgin TV customers with Virgin TV 360 box or a V6 box, powered by TiVo®. Customers with those boxes will be able to find it in the Apps & Games section. You don’t need to do anything. It’ll be there waiting for you as soon as you’re ready."

And indeed it is there when I go to Apps. Press the button, onscreen message:

"The ITV Hub app can only be used on V6 boxes so you'll need to upgrade...However your favourite (?) ITV shows are sill available in Catch Up..."

Not sure it's worth the bother

Standard TiVOs are now actively being replaced by V6s, as they can no longer be replaced when they fail. The app has no doubt not been distributed to these boxes due to the slower legacy modems & smaller RAM modules they have built in, which would severely restrict performance.
