How do I speak to a human being?

My Virgin TV box has stopped working.

I have turned it off and on again many, many times. I have unplugged it and replugged it just as many times. All the cables are plugged in. Network diagnostics say everything is plugged in OK.

Everytime I phone VM custmer service, I just get the automated service which tells me they are checking my service... everything is ok... turn it off for 20 s!

I think it's reasonable to assume now, that the box itself is b*ggered.

How do I arrange an engineer to come and look at the damn thing?

Hi phone again the system will recognise you have called before, don't be tempted by the button press requests then you will be put in a queue to speak with a person. Regards Micky

Re: How do I speak to a human being?

Hi Fireraiser,

You should contact VM Faults again.

Call  150 from a Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, option 2 (Faultsbut best to call between 8am and 10am to avoid call queues, or late afternoon around tea time

When calling Faults hopefully the system will recognise that you've called before and place you into a queue for an agent to pick up.

If not and you get the automated response asking you to press 1 for the link to online support etc, ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and resolve the problem.
