Bose surround sound

Hi all,

 

i have just got virgin tv installed with the V6 box, apart from the HDMI CEC controlling not working, I’m having problems with my sound, I’ve searched everywhere and got 1 code but the issue is the up bottom turns it down and down turns it up.

 

i have a LG TV, with a Bose solo 5 soundbar.

 

code I’m using is 1224, any help is much appreciated.

The code for LG tvs is 0011, if that is what your looking for

Thanks for your reply, I may have not explained it properly.

 

my TV has a soundbar connected via optical cable, so my tv is forced to put the sound through that. Now on my sky Q, the volume was adjusted via the sky control, Ive sort of got it working now but to turn the volume up I have to press down, and to turn it down I have to press up. 

 

Im not quite sure on what’s happening.

I’ve actually figured this out with an ice little setting tool in the help menu, had to find this myself, the engineer didn’t show me much and left me with with no volume adjustment...

Have you had a look at our instructions for controlling your TV/audio device with your remote?
