No BBC4 on both Tivos here (one V6, one original).
Rebooted both boxes - still no BBC4 on either.
Info button tells me the programme currently being broadcast, but I still have a blank screen.
Dialled 150. Currently waiting 20 mins for a human being to answer ... "we are having high volume of calls" - perhaps from lots of people with the same issue? But nothing whatsoever noted on the Service Status link.
30 mins to get a human being. Denies having any similar calls this evening. Currently on hold while they do tests/restart machine (which I have already done, **bleep**).
... and now 'network team' confirm an issue (aware as of 15 mins ago allegedly) and advise it could take 8-10 HOURS!!!! to fix.
Edited to add ... and seeing as it has been off since at least 7.15pm, how come the 'network team' didn't know immediately and update service status page and get a voice message on 150 to save everyone hanging on hold. Apparently high call volumes are due to new features introduced recently which lots of customers are calling about. No idea what these are, so well done on that, VM. Maybe the new feature is "random channel removal"?
Not much of a 'network team' if they cannot get quicker info about problems in their own network - one wonders if the most effective network monitoring tool they have is "Customer services here, we are getting a lot of calls about X".
Same experience except I hung up after 20 minutes of Interminal pop music. Not just BBC4 had the same problem intermittently all day on Eurosport and other channels. Also cable broadband reset itself several times.
