I think many of us are regretting the move ("upgrade")

The sound bar issue is one that I had/have. I was told just to listen to it through the TV instead while they fix the problem!

A few people have found disabling the dolby in the setting helps. Give it a go!

I'm so sorry to hear about the issues you've had since upgrading to 360, I can appreciate this is frustrating and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

 

How have things been since posting? Have you managed to connect the sound bar? Have you tried disabling the dolby sound in settings as advised by @Inaspin

You can get Ethernet boosters, Virgin do them. They sent us a couple free last year I think NETGEAR ones.

They work well for us, you can find them on ebay too
