Not for that room no
I think many of us are regretting the move ("upgrade")
The sound bar issue is one that I had/have. I was told just to listen to it through the TV instead while they fix the problem!
A few people have found disabling the dolby in the setting helps. Give it a go!
Welcome to the community and thanks for your first post, we're happy to have you with us 🙂
I'm so sorry to hear about the issues you've had since upgrading to 360, I can appreciate this is frustrating and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
How have things been since posting? Have you managed to connect the sound bar? Have you tried disabling the dolby sound in settings as advised by @Inaspin?

You can get Ethernet boosters, Virgin do them. They sent us a couple free last year I think NETGEAR ones.
They work well for us, you can find them on ebay too
Hope this helps
we had a brilliant Virgin engineer come out and we now think our 360 system is pretty good! Working well
