Hello,
I'm after some help answering some questions on upgrading to Virgin 360, I scrolled through the forums and can't seem to find answers and also when Chatting to Virgin via that chat they don't seem to be able to help or understand the product!
I currently have a 3 x Virgin V6 boxes in my home as well as Virgin Broadband via a Hub 3.
Currently looking at possibly upgrading to Virgin TV 360 as I believe I can do this to my existing boxes? When chatting to Virgin they are saying that I will need to upgrade 1 box and then they will have to send me mini boxes for the other 2?
Am I right in thinking that I can upgrade all 3 of my boxes rather than have just 1 and then 2 mini boxes, as I believe the mini boxes are not recordable, they just record to the main box? We do a lot of recording to having 3 full boxes with hard drives is what I'm after?
Also A question about how it works. If I had 3 full boxes does it work in the same way as V6, i.e. I could have something recorded on box 1 and then view and watch those recording from box 2 and 3?
The setup I have now works perfectly for us but ideally would like the newer interface, voice commands and also access to disney+ alongside the other streaming services.

Firstly TV360 is not an upgrade to V6, it's a totally different platform. A bit like Android is an "upgrade" to Apple or vice-versa, However, that's the terminology!
You can convert upto 3 x V6 into TV360-masters and they will retain their hard drives. All the recordings from your 3x master boxes will be pooled into one location and be visible from all 3 boxes - this is how TV360 works, compared with TiVo/V6-software. Setting recordings will default to one box unless you explicitly alter that in the sub-menus for each recording.
If you ever get a fault with one of the additional boxes, they will be replaced with TV360-minis and you will lose the HDD storage.
