My contract is up in September and a return to Sky is looking very tempting at the minute.

Just when I thought Virgin got something right it turns out once again a complete nightmare. I have come home and checked to see if the channel is live and it isn’t. I then check the contract they have sent and the gentlemen has removed my UHD package and charged me more! As you can image, I am livid and on the phone now.

I just went on the live chat to add Sky Sports UHD. I added it pretty quickly and as soon as the chat ended it was available and working on my 360 box.
If you are waiting to order it, Then it should now be safe to do so 😁

My Sky Sports UHD is now up and running in glorious HLG/HDR
Looking forward to watching the EFL Cup semi final between Man Utd and Notts Forest tonight.

I'm told that ATMOS is available when Sky put it out. Should be their for tonight's semi-final.

Boom. All up and running in HDR. Let's see what the footy is like later.

The cricket (I assume) is HD upscaled as SuperSport (S. Africa) don't do UHD to the best of my knowledge - so I think the football will probably be the first UHD programming proper.

Interesting....again I was told £7 despite having ultimate volt, etc. I asked about the £4 and was told there's no such thing and it's £7 extra a month.
I'll try in a week or so and see what I'm quoted then

I’ve had exactly the same problem. Got through to a nice lady who has sent a message to the call quality team to listen to the call. Still on the edge of pulling out as out of contract.

The man I spoke to this morning messed my package up. Stripped UHD instead of adding and put my bill up £4 a month.
After being passed from pillar to post on the phone I finally got through to a gentlemen in Swansea, who handled my complaint brilliantly. He informed me I will go back down to £65 and they’ll restore my UHD services, but but did confirm it is £7 for UHD and not £4 which I was told this morning. I agreed to this, as my I’m happy to get everything for £72. So Sky Sports UHD is now up and running. If only everyone in Virgin customer services were so good.
