New season and still no Sky Sports UHD

With the new Premier League season beginning this weekend I have to admit I am slightly Sky Sports UHD is still not available on Virgin Media.

This, if I'm correct was rumoured to have been on Virgin 2 years ago yet still nothing!!

Does anyone have any further news as to when/if it is still coming?

The red button is currently working on Sky Sports Football. The main channel is showing Belarus v Wales, the red button (after pressing the context key for info) gives the option to watch Sweden v Uzbekistan - this match isn't advertised on the Sky listings page https://www.skysports.com/watch/sport-on-sky 

EDIT The red button is also currently working on the Sky Sports F1 channel

My Red Button is working at oresent but for the Sweeden game the sound is the commentary for the Dutcg Grand Prix

You're right, I've just turned the sound on and it's the grand prix commentary.

I could add more links but why bother, when I first signed-up the lady told me sky sports was on virgin and in 4k. I knew it wasn't but she obviously had no idea.
Then in 2019 there was a press announcement that from 2020 we would get live sports content from sky in 4k.... Now that's not Eurosport or BT sports. 

So what is going on? Im seriously wondering if this will ever happen or are Virgin just a bunch of liars and don't understand.

Im annoyed and rightly so. The sky sports picture is woeful on anything above a 43" tv on premier league games.

Really that response is the level of care and attention I have come to expect with Virgin.

Maybe you need to read posts, understand the tone and even understand the customers. I'm aware if what's available. All of our issues here is what isn't and should be.

Once again! Not really helpful referring anyone to virgin media's news. I think we can all Google press releases. I'm interesting in knowing when we are getting what was promised 2019
