As I understand it, If the HD channel is included in your package, it gets moved higher up in the guide and the SD channel gets removed.
115: ITV2 -> ITV2 HD116: ITV2 +1 -> ITV2 +1176: ITV2 HD -> blank
But what happens if the HD channel is already higher than the SD channel? Does it get moved down the guide, or does it stay where it is?
111: Sky Witness HD -> blank ???112: Sky Witness -> Sky Witness HD ???180: Sky Witness +1 -> Sky Witness +1
Go to Answer
Sky witness remains on 111
112 is blank plus 1 remains on 180
You can also renumber the channel in any order you wish

What about when none/or just one of the channels are in your package, does it show you the SD and the HD channel too or just SD.

In common with all pay TV providers, you see all the channels available on the network whether you subscribe or not. They want you to see what you are missing out on as well as what you already have.
