Any help with error ma/15/40

Upgrade not working for 3 days and this is latest error.

Here are some things you can try that people have said worked for them, but you are probably going to have to phone Virgin and get the problem escalated to 2nd level or wait a couple of days for a member of the forum team to pick this up.

  1. Try deleting some recordings or all recordings because you will lose them anyway when the upgrade works.
  2. Disconnect the box from the mains for about 5 minutes and then try again.
  3. You could also try turning the box off with the switch on the back,  then hold down both the power button and the + button at the same time. Then turn the box on again whilst keeping holding those buttons for a further 30 seconds.
  4. Factory Reset the box.

 

 

 

Cheers I had tried 4, and sent me to a resetting death loop.

But a few hours later and a call to virgin, update has worked, thanks
