Hello since upgrading to IOS 16 my mobile will not send I message to other virgin users and sends as sms. Tried all the usual things, but nothing is working; any ideas?

I am sorry to hear iMessage is not working for you, following a software update. 

Have you gone into settings on your phone to check if it is showing as enabled or not?

Rebooted phone, turned I message off and back on, turned FaceTime off and back on. First thing this morning it was ok, but now back to not sending. It’s only a problem with Virgin contacts

Thanks for checking.

Could you try a soft reset to see if this helps. 

So go to Settings app > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to reset network.
