Unlimited calls but told no credit when phoning

New phone, has been working perfectly,

it updated iOS over night 

and since

i haven’t been able to phone anyone…it says I have no credit? However I’m on a deal with unlimited calls and minutes which I’ve barely used as it is! 

any help would be appreciated

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are having with your phone.


Have you turned the phone off and on? I know that sounds simple but it does usually solve most problems 🙂


If this doesn't work, If you are able, could you try the SIM in another phone?


Could you also confirm if its multiple numbers you cant call please? Or is this just one particular number?


Are you able to text/use data?

I have turned phone off and on 

I cannot call any numbers 

my texts come through as just numbers even though they are saved as contacts on my phone already 

Not enjoying my experience with virgin so far since getting this contract

Sorry to hear of this fault @Sophieemarie, just to confirm, has this only happened since the recent update on the handset?

Do you have the ability to try the sim card in a different handset?

I had this exact same problem. What you need to do is redo all of your contacts, and instead of using 07 or anything with a 0, use the dialling code as in +44 for me and etc.
