Why do I no longer get delivery or read reports on my virgin sim for texts or mms, although those options are selected in the settings?

I am now having this happen to me
My phone is a Samsung a21s always had text delivery reports never any problems until today they seem to of stopped not changed any settings on my phone so delivery reports still turned on but not coming through ..texts are being sent ok and where it say delivery report just says requested normally has delivered nect to it
The only thing that's changed for me is I moved from payg to pay monthly yesterday but wouldn't think that would have anything to do with it at all
I've restarted my phone a few times but still no delivery reports

I've done that and restarted phone then phone restarts again then turned delivery report back on
No change report still doesn't come through like it has been

That's very strange, when you checked the settings 'Delivery Reports' was active or on?
Do you have another handset you can try the SIM card in for us please?

If you have Android and are using Samsung Messages try Google Messages instead and see if it works.
I find Samsung offering a bit flakey
