SAMSUNG S9 NOT REGISTERING ON NETWORK?

Having recently joined VM mobile, not impressed. In the  past 2 weeks, am getting "not registered on network". a number of times, seems to fix itself then keeps recurring. Have tried the reboot, switch off, and software updates as advised but am getting fed up with the whole thing. So what to do now?

Really sorry you're having an on going issue with your SIM this isn't good. 

I've had a look and it seems as though you've gone through some trouble shooting with the team and they've advised the next steps.

Sorry Emma C, received a new SIM ............ still same problem (not registered on network) Tried my previous GG SIM, .....all works perfectly. Contacted GG, who state problem is nothing to do with them (phone is not locked) and they suggested that I inform my new provider -VM-  and advise VM of |"PORT IN FAILURE" I am sure you will know what this is,

I now have had no phone for 3 days and the hassle of trying to contact VM  to sort this out. NOT HAPPY!!

The phone works perfectly under other SIM cards, this is a VM problem to fix.

So now its Monday,  The SIM is still not registering on network. So far have had a replacement SIM, which VM confirmed was not activated by them properly and still doesn't work!! No contact from anyone since Saturday and still no further forward after 5 days without a phone.Is there anyone still working at VM,???

So now its Day 6 (Tuesday,) still no phone, waiting for VM IT to do something since yesterday, glad its not urgent!!

Well its Friday now, (Day 10), still no phone, waiting on VM IT to do something, perhaps I should buy some semaphore flags - that would be much easier? Oh, and I received my VM bill, nice of them since I've had no phone for 10 days.

Day 11 now, this issue was raised with the VM IT team on last Monday supposedly, but no contact from them since..Oh dear, what is going on with VM??

Really sorry this is still on going. 

I've checked the IT ticket and can see that it is still being worked, I can only apologise for the delay. 

As soon as we have an update on the ticket we will be in touch. 

You will also be able to receive a credit for the time without service.
