There has been a major fibre damage incident in Southampton overnight. All VM services in that part of the south coast from Dorset to Sussex are out, as are some of Virgins competitors using the same piece of infrastructure. This appears to have also taken out Virgin Mobile services nationally & some website services such as the Service Status.

I cannot log into my mobile account as I have forgot my password the only option is to get a code send to mobile number but I cannot receive it in Brunei I tried to contact customer service but was hold for about a week!!!!
For some reason, all of a sudden this morning my iPhone 11 wouldn’t make outgoing calls. I have had this before with previous iPhones and seem to remember being told to switch ‘dial assist’ on in settings. I have done this and my phone is now working, but I wonder if you could clarify if it is okay to leave dial assist switched on and why this may have happened all of a sudden when I don’t think I changed the setting in the first place?
