Problem with new sim and my Nokia 1112

Hi,

Like others I have found the new sim does not work in my trusty Nokia 1112.

I did the swap as instructed but the phone just sat there saying "sim not valid".

I eventually refitted the original and thankfully found it still works - for now. I keep receiving txt messages (and emails on my virgin.net account) warning this will soon not be the case.

Please can you help.

Hi, unless someone on the Forum Team knows any different, this is what I did when this happened to me.
I have a Pay As You Go Nokia 2310. I phoned Virgin mobile, it took ages to get through but they have sent me a new phone. Hope that helps.

Thank you for that Daisy. But from what I can see it looks like PAYG is no longer available and you have to have a monthly plan now. Is this what you've had to do?
