I have an old Virgin mobile sim card. It was PAYG so i gather the number is disconnected now (the sim is also locked with a PUK code as I couldn't remember the PIN).
Is there a way to reclaim the mobile number associated with the new likely disconnected sim?
On payg, if you don't use the phone (call or text), they are likely to shut the number down, and recycle it into "the pool" for recycled numbers.
In their legal stuff...
Thanks for the clarification Paul. Presumably there is no way to reclaim my old number from this pool?
No, that's a pool for all operators to re-assign as necessary. Once in the pool it's out of vm's control so to speak.
