I’ve had a replacement sim as it was lost. Put it in my phone following all instructions but still have no service, so unable to text or make calls.

Have you been through to activate the SIM card after inserting it in the handset?
I followed the instructions that came with the SIM but I wasn't asked for a pin & the virgin network never appeared. Is there something else I should be doing?
