New SIM card doesn’t work

Virgin sent new SIM for a better service. Problem is phone now not working. Shows NO SIM CARD. No text message received etc etc. Double checked inserts corrctly, and within 30 days. Impossible to speak or email a human, having failed roaming around in circles on various Help pages, which do not help. What now Virgin, do you send me another one to try?
