Locked out of ans machine abroad - lost pin 789 not working

• Hi - I’m in Ireland and was checking messages on this phone/ needed a pin- tried 3 times/ locked out and 789 won’t connect? Cuts off after 4 or 5 rings… please help - I need to check messages
