Since moving to virgin media I've been receiving my notifications late whilst on mobile data. I've never had any trouble with this phone before when I was previously on O2. It all works fine once I'm connected to WiFi and a tonne of notifications come through.
Steps I've taken so far:
- updating the heart beat on the phone
- checking that battery saver is not turned on and also making sure applications aren't optimised.
- checking all the network settings
- I've deleted and recreated the APNs.
I've never had this problem before, but it gets annoying now getting notifications 20 minutes later that I've missed a call on WhatsApp
Apology that you're getting notifications on a later time as this doesn't notify you right away when it should be. I'll try my best to help you sorted out. Just to clarify if you did a speed test on your mobile phone?
What mobile handset do you have and does all your apps goes for late notifications? How about your message and calls, have you able to received it on time?
