With Virgin now taking pre-orders on 5g phones with promise of 5g "as soon as we have it", plus a little note added about 5g in the T&C's - it can't be that long before it's out?.
We've been told no SIM change needed and presumably the 5g will only be from Vodafone network - so how do we think this is going to work until the full move happens over to Vodafone end of 2021.
If it is Vodafone it will prove interesting if 4G / 3G stay on EE.
Never experienced fall back across networks.
As a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share my knowledge. I don't work for Virgin Media.

That's the part which has got me 🙂
Not heard of fall back across networks - unless you lose signal.
Wonder if there is a tie in somewhere with the web page on how to activate WiFi calling, that was quickly withdrawn when mentioned on here.

And unless Virgin are going to pay all the costs of the required interconnects and signalling kit (which I very much doubt), I don't foresee Voda or EE co-operating on inter-network handover.
EE made it work when Orange & T-Mobile first merged, but that was a different scenario entirely.
