Hello,
I took out a contract for 3 mobile phone numbers and was told if I cancelled within the cooling off period I wouldn't have to pay an early disconnection fee.
I found a service that more suited the news so I cancelled within the week I took out the contract. I saw that I was billed last month for the what was agreed on the contract.
I just received an email that a new bill is available and will be taken by DD from my account in November, but the bill will be for a contract buy-out charge (early disconnection fee). When setting up the contract, the lady on the phone assured me that I would not be charged this fee for leaving within the cooling off period, so why did I receive this bill?
I would like for this to be resolved. It was a sim only contract.
