I'm with Virgin Media for both broadband and mobile, and am currently unable to connect to the internet through my broadband connection. The earliest Virgin are able to send someone out to look at what has happened is Tuesday.
I have a decent-sized mobile data package, but if I have to rely on this for tethering this will eat through all my data very quickly.
It seems reasonable that my mobile data could be uncapped for the duration of this outage so I am still able to use the internet in much the same way as normal, albeit with lower speeds and slightly worse latency.
As this is a non-standard request I haven't been able to find out the best way to contact to ask about this, and the person I spoke to about the broadband outage was unable to help as they weren't from the mobile team.
Please let me know who I can speak to to get this arranged. Thanks!
