Regarding this specific deal you should be able to complete the order online, if this is the case you would not need a new SIM, the new deal would continue on your current SIM.
If you are currently in a contract it would not be possible to change to the new deal - you would need to complete the current contract.
If you have any concerns whilst completing the order via your online account it would be best to speak to the mobile team on 0345 600 0789 who can walk through your options and confirm the upgrade would be happening to the correct SIM.
