had an engineer today who said despite virgin installing anti surge to the TiVo
TiVo been hit by a spike as a result of the storms and won’t restart he couldn’t get it to do a factory reset and said the surge hit the weakest point in the system the TiVo box and that the TiVo is now no good and I’ve lost all my recordings
virgin should build a better box protected from storm damage
i now have a V6 box installed
loose connection in wall socket caused pixelation on tv
the other problem still outstanding is that for the last 4 weeks I’ve been unable to get into virgin email when i try to log in it says forbidden
