Did you get this fixed or was it a replacement Tivo as I've got the same problem

What's the problem you've got? Better to explain your issues in a new thread than add to someone else's.
TiVo's aren't replaced anymore but faulty ones are now upgraded to a V6 providing you have VM home broadband. Same software, but a much newer & quicker box.

Booked and engineer visit. All lights were on and no output same as the original post, although it’s now changed to no lights at all.

As was suggested, the engineer replaced TiVo with V6 box.
