Why Am i not Eligable For Hub 4 Or 5

I have been with Virgin Media Since they were NTL:Telewest, never used the Virgin Media Community.

I have 600mbps Package, Virgin Box And Sim, Why are Virgin Media So reluctant on Rolling Out The Hub 4 or 5 to me, I have had Major Issues with my network for about a Year, Every time i get an engineer round, they fix it, it works for a couple weeks then the issues come back its becoming quite Frustrating. The Chipset in this Hub 3 Is actually a terrible, Why are Virgin So reluctant on upgrading peoples hubs -_-

Re: Why Am i not Eligable For Hub 4 Or 5

@Max555 As you have never used the Virgin community before, you might want to search for Hub 4 or Hub 5 on here and read some of the horror stories about these new hubs.

The chipset in the Hub 3 was "a terrible" but Intel have made changes to make it a lot less "a terrible".  If you fear the Puma chipset in the Hub 3 then you might be interested to know that the Hub 4 also has an Intel Puma chipset, albeit a different one.  If you really, really want a Hub 4 then upgrading to the 1Gig service is the only guaranteed way to get one.

They don't seem to be reluctant to send it to folks that don't want one:

Re: Why Am i not Eligable For Hub 4 Or 5

Hub 3 is 50-600Mbps and Hub 4 is 1Gig

I work for VMO2 but all opinions are my own and are based on my own experiences

Has the hub 3 been swapped for another hub 3? If so your problem is highly unlikely to be caused by a faulty hub.

Unless its a used hub and VM thinking they are fine when not.

Re: Why Am i not Eligable For Hub 4 Or 5

Great news everyone, i had a virgin media technician come round, he told me that i somehow managed to ''burn out the VHub3' his words were he then procceeded to install me a new Virgin Media Hub 3 and added two wifi boosters to my home, then added an attenuator to my hub bringing my downstream from 50 to a wooping 27 and i am well pleased with the time and effort thats been done!
