Problem with Connecting HIVE to Virgin router

Hiya, Not sure if this is the right group to post on...

I am having problems connecting my HIVE hub to my Virgin router...

I have spoken to HIVE many times and they seem to think that Virgin may have a firewall or blockage on the router.

I had a very unhelpful (short) conversation with someone at virgin on a whatsapp chat yesterday and didn't manage to get anywhere. I still don't know if there is a firewall/blockage on the router... does anyone know how I can find out if I do?

Has anybody else got HIVE and had this problem?

Thanks so much in advance 🙂

Re: Problem with Connecting HIVE to Virgin router

Hi  @LaurenTw

There are various posts in the WfFi & Networking forum regarding the Hive.

Quite a few show that the Hive was faulty and had to be replaced.

For example  Hive-hub-not-listed-as-Ethernet-connection

and /Hive-hub-nano-not-connecting-to-VM-Hub-3-0

The following post is marked as a solution and suggests splitting the hub bands into 2.4GHz and 5Ghz - The hive should connect to the 2.4GHz band.
